PROFESSION-UNM.COM – The Economic Education Study Program Student Association (HMPS) of the Faculty of Economics (FE) Makassar State University (UNM) held Basic Leadership Education (BLE).This activity was carried out for New Students (Maba) class of 2021.
Carrying the theme “Cultivating a Cheerful Spirit of Leadership (Smart, educative, Religious, Innovative and Trustful)” this activity was held in Pacekke Village, Barru District, last Friday to Sunday (26–28/11). Super Wool Insulation
This activity is one of a series of cadre processes with the aim of forming cadres, cultivating the leadership spirit of new students as well as a gathering event for the entire community of HMPS PE FE UNM.
Anugrah Apriyatno Santung, head of the committee, said that BLE is slightly different from basic leadership training in general.The concept concocted by the committee is educational and humanist based, so the material presented is different from before.Material problem solving, creativity, making decisions and public speaking are also included in this activity.
"Through this activity, I hope that the 2021 batch of cadres will be formed to become leaders according to the theme of the activity," said the head of the committee.
Furthermore, Evi Afriani, a Basic Leadership Education (BLE) participant said that through this activity it could provide an opportunity to get to know the concepts of struggle and solidarity.
"Previously there was still something called a "mental test" which in my opinion did not provide any benefits before, but in this activity we were given the opportunity to build good relationships with fellow freshmen and seniors," he said.(*)
