Victaulic’s FireLock IGS Style V9 is the first FM-approved and UL-listed coupling to redefine sprinkler installation in exposed applications by connecting IGS grooved-sprinkler heads and outlets, the company states. The combination of the Style V9 coupling captured onto an IGS grooved-end sprinkler provides superior out-of-the-box ease in sprinkler system installations and modifications for a wide variety of commodities and storage arrangements, including distribution centers and warehouses. The Style V9 is the first to standardize the 1” outlet since it can be used to connect sprinklers of any size. The coupling has one bolt, is captured onto the sprinkler and can be used in conjunction with 1” IGS No. 142 welded outlets, Style 922 Outlet-Ts and Style 920N Mechanical T-outlets.
